Paulus SAICHILD
Chief Executive Officer + Chief Investment Officer

Paulus is primarily involved in the oversight and management of the Group's investments and corporate developments, as well as formulate the overall business and corporate policies and strategies for the Group.

A veteran who has more than two decades of experience in the banking and financial markets built and managed businesses in major financial institutions spanning trading, investment management, corporate finance and solution structuring across broad asset classes in the Asia-Pacific. Paulus had been a top-ranked derivatives trader and also ran a derivatives structuring and solutions advisory group in Asia-Pacific for a top bulge bracket U.S. investment bank and subsequently also in the establishment of a special situations and macro fund in Asia.

Paulus began his career on Wall Street with J.P. Morgan as a market maker and proprietary trader in foreign exchange and derivatives.

Bruce LEE
President + Chief Operating Officer

Bruce is responsible for the day-to-day corporate and strategy management. Prior to joining our Group, Bruce was with a well-known fund management company as a manager responsible for the marketing, product development, as well as sales administration and sales in respect of funds from 1996 to 2009. From 1986 to 1991, he worked briefly as an external auditor before joining foreign bank as a VP-Corporate Sales, and from 1992 to 1996, he worked as a Head of Sales.

Bruce has a broad range of experience in the Asian and global markets having worked in various capacities in private and investment banking. He has been covering Asian economies since 1997 in roles with several top-ranked banks.

TaeGeon KIM
Chief Risk & Compliance Officer + Chief Information Security Officer

TaeGeon is a member of the executive leadership team for Risk and Compliance reporting directly to the Chief Executive Officer and has accountability to the Audit Committee.

As CRCO, TaeGeon is responsible for compliance activities at Saichild including designing and implementing structures and processes that integrate the principles of effective compliance into daily operations to manage risk and drive good governance. Additionally, he is responsible for establishing frameworks designed to ensure compliance with law and policies regarding financial services. TaeGeon has direct oversight for Anti-Money Laundering/Know Your Customer (AML/KYC), Ethics, Conduct and Privacy programs.

Prior to joining the Group, he was Director, Global Banking and Markets, Operational Risk Oversight, at an international bank. He started his career in PricewaterhouseCoopers as an analyst.

Sumin SONG
Chief Financial Officer Appointed as a Company Secretary

Sumin is responsible for all Finance functions and M&A, as well as joint oversight for Corporate Strategy. The Finance functions that she oversees include Treasury, Controllership, Tax, Financial Planning & Analysis, Business Unit Finance and Investor Relations. Sumin also oversees the Group and Credit Finance Businesses in support of the client franchise. She is also responsible for Corporate Services. In addition, Sumin is a member of the Executive Committee, the company’s most senior strategy and policy-making team.

Sumin started her career as an auditor and accumulated considerable work experience during her tenure at several Big Four public accounting firms. Sumin is a Chartered Accountant.

Sumin is active in the community and has served on many not-for-profit boards.
